New Year - New Change!
Recently I read a quote that said "He who rejects change
is the architect of decay"! I believe change is a good thing. We must adapt to our
environment in order to survive. In the business world to survive you must out service
your competition offering a fair product at a fair price to your customer. I like
my competitors, they keep us true to our customers. In simple terms they keep us
honest and honesty is my core principle - be true to yourself and be accountable.
Worthington Ag Parts had adapted and changed in the twenty years I have been here
significantly and it changed the first 25 years before I arrived. This business
was founded on dismantling tractors and combines and selling the used parts at a
fair price in 1964. We now carry over 34,000 different new parts in our system all
available to you via our web site and readily available to our countermen at each
of our different stores. We also carry 4,000 re-manufactured parts! All of these
were added to offer a diverse product range to service our valued customers. We
continue to add hundreds of parts monthly to our offering.
This business model was
founded on used parts and we continue to catalog our used parts in an effort to
readily service our customers rather than saying we'll check and call you back.
We currently have over 24,000 used tractor parts and combine parts cataloged at
all of our stores in the United States. If you have used our web site before, all
of these used parts are prefaced with "WU" and can be seen but not priced. It's
always been call for pricing. In an effort change that effective Monday, January
4th Worthington Ag Parts will be pricing our used parts on-line for you our valued
customers. You will be able to order those parts we have cataloged "real-time" on
our web site! Please remember not all of our tens of thousands of parts are cataloged
and some will say "call for pricing" but we are continuously working to price them
all.
Change is a good thing and we understand it's a real-time world. I'm exciting
about this step into the future to better service our customers. Stay tuned we will
be rolling out a brand new web site in 2010 to make the change necessary to carry
Worthington Ag Parts into the future and continue our partnership in parts with
you our valued
customers!
Sincerely,
Mike Winter

Dakota Shine
Worthington Ag Parts is proud to introduce the “Dakota
Shine” paint restoration product line to the worldwide agriculture market. In essence,
it is a simple four step process that returns the faded/oxidized paint on your old
equipment to “like new” in just a few hours and at a fraction of the cost of repainting.
Dakota Prep is the water-based and biodegradable cleaning
agent that will aid in the removal of oxidation, grease/grime, and wax build-up
from a wide variety of surfaces. Dakota Shine is a unique and patented product that
actually penetrates the old paint surface and interacts with the paint pigment,
pulling it back to the surface and restoring the color, luster, and shine to faded
and oxidized surfaces. Best of all, it works on paint, decals, plastics and more,
so no masking of your equipment is necessary! All you will need is a hose and clean
water, a bucket for mixing the Prep, and a spray gun if using the Shine in gallon
containers. After you are finished, let the equipment stand in a sheltered environment
for 36-48 hours before use.
