Our Tear Down Shop needs to be well organized and efficiently run to process the whole units we receive as quickly as possible.  Here is a great time-lapsed video showing an actual tear down.  This unit took approximately one full day to dismantle.  Simply click on the image to view the video.

It was an awesome week at the 2010 Farm Progress Show!  Even the occasional rain showers didn't deter our faithful customers from getting to our booth and buying parts for their tractors and combines.

Great Field Demo for our Capello Corn Head at the Farm Progress Show!
Here is a photo of myself (on right) with Colin Taylor, our International Sales Manager just before our field demo at the Farm Progress Show.  It was a great show and you can read more about the demo further down in this newsletter. Capello has been leading the world in manufacturing corn heads since 1965 and Worthington Ag Parts is quickly establishing Capello as the corn head of choice in the United States.

Capello Corn Heads
Our Capello corn head debuted to rave reviews in the field demonstrations on day one of the 2010 Farm Progress Show. It put on an impressive show by handling both single row and twin row corn with ease.  Equally impressive was the fact that all of this took place only one day after hitting a large bolder in test runs.  We will have a follow up story on that in next week's newsletter.  Unfortunately rain caused the cancellation of demos for the remainder of the show.  However one day was enough to show off the Capello's advanced chopping system as well.  Check out the "field residue comparison" section below.

Want to watch the actual field demo?  Simply click on the video to the left.  As you watch, notice the high corn residue in the forefront - that is from a competitor who ran their demo right before ours.
Our wonderful partners from Capello traveled all the way from Italy to be a part of the show.  If you were at the show we hope you had a chance to meet them.  They are truly terrific people and great business partners.  As a company Worthington Ag Parts works hard to maintain a family-like relationship with not only our employees but also with our manufacturing partners; and our Capello partners have become just that - family.
